Refund of Principal Amount to Senior Citizen Allottees/Homebuyers (75 Years and Above), as per Hon'ble Supreme Court Order dated 06th February 2025.

  • This is to bring to the notice of all the Refund seeking Homebuyers of Unitech Group (project-wise lists available on the website) that the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has directed vide its order dated 6th February 2025 to invite applications for refund of the principal amount from senior citizen Homebuyers, aged 75 years and above for processing their requests. The relevant part of the order is extracted below:
    • “Consequently, Unitech is directed to invite the claims of all senior citizens in the age group of 75 years and above for the refund of their principal amount in conformity with the earlier order dated 13.10.2022. Let the time-period to invite such claims on relevant portal of the website be open ended, i.e., without any end-date. However, the claim of each applicant shall be verified within four weeks from the date of uploading of the relevant information on the website. If the Unitech is satisfied that the allottee’s claim falls in the age group of 75 years and above and fulfills other conditions regarding refund of the principal amount, the details of such allottee(s) shall be furnished to this Court so that appropriate direction for refund of the due amount can be issued.”
  • Eligibility:

    Accordingly, applications are invited from the refunds-seeking Homebuyers who are, senior citizens aged 75 years or above for the purpose. In order to be eligible for submitting the claims, the concerned applicant should fulfil the following conditions:

    • Homebuyer concerned should be in the list of Refund seeking Homebuyers (Click here to view the list)
    • The applicant should be a senior citizen of 75 years or more as on the date of submission of application.
  • Important Instructions:

    Homebuyers are required to furnish/ fill -in the following details:

    Sr. No Subject Particulars
    (i) Name of the First Allottee
    (ii) Customer Code
    (iii) Project Name and Location
    (iv) PAN details
    (v) Date of Birth
    (vi) Please submit any two of the following in support of your Date of Birth
    (vii) PAN Card
    (viii) Secondary level Board of Education Certificate with Date of Birth
    (ix) Aadhaar Card
  • Verification Process:

    Unitech will verify each claim within four weeks of receiving the complete application. If the claim is found to be valid, Unitech will submit the details thereof to the Hon’ble Supreme Court for further directions.
